I was really struck by this mug-shot of Pertwee, and to render it…?

More stippling! (I’m a glutten for punishment, really…)

Hopefully I’ve captured the sense of being inside the Miniscope, as well as the crazy, colourful direction of the production.

“He is me and we are he and we are all together…” The image of faces trapped in the lightening-bolt images influenced this sketch of the Three Doctors. Hence some sharp, jagged rendering in charcoal.

Something very feint and sketchy, to represent the idea of Kronos being outside of time.

Trying to sum up the colour, texture and imagery of this story, somehow just using a simple pose of Aggedor and enjoying the rich colour.

More Katy… yeah there’s some other tuff in the picture too.

Trying to capture the mood, with strong charcoal strokes. All in black and white to celebrate the fact that my vhs copy still is – gotta love UK Gold!

What a mask! I wanted to do something reflecting the Primitive drawings in the story, so I got out the oil pastels (last used way back with The Myth Makers).
